O-okay, okay FINE, so there was the one time he told a student he'd "get a lot of use out of that clever mouth" of his, but that was DEFINITELY NOT MEANT SEXUALLY. D8> He is unmarried and probably not looking.

Personality Shu is an ass egotistical and difficult sort of man, a logical thinker who is emotionally distanced from those around him. He has a brilliant mind and has made his entire career off of using it to his often selfish benefit.
Though he has made improvements where it comes to others as he's grown a little older and softer, he still has a mind set on strategy and tactics, and old habits die hard. He doesn't make himself terribly approachable, and has no patience for those who can't listen respectfully to what he has to say or offer something intelligent in return. He still, occasionally, finds himself working out quiet, methodical plans in his mind, and people are not exempt from them. Whether for the purpose of advancement with his work or with students, Shu is a natural-born strategist.
However, he learned through his time in business and politics that self-sacrifice is sometimes necessary to ensure victory - that acts of selflessness and occasional recklessness, though not 'by the book' or indeed looked upon kindly by self-serving politicians, are as valid as any other tactic.
There is an admittedly gentle side to the man that he saves for a select few, and he does have a fairly wicked sense of humour that he occasionally allows to slip through.
He's always been drawn to military history and warfare, particularly the strategic side of things. He has a number of books about various military strategists just chilling in his office, and a poster in the classroom of Churchill.
